i today i was walking along town..
and an elderly woman came up to me..
she wasnt dressed well and she seemed to have a disfigured arm..
like it looked wrong.. but not obvious..
i just happened to notice..
well she asked me for 2bucks for her dinner..
right in the middle of the busy orchard road..
but you see..
i didnt know what she was tyring to say until karyn explained to me later..
so i didnt manage to give her any cash..
but then again..
should i have given?
it's against the law..
but im sure a handful of us would take pity on the lady, and in such a given situation.. give her 2bucks.. maybe more..
anyway.. what is 2bucks to you?
2bucks to her might go a long long way..
but then again..
could she be abusing the fact that people like us, especially teenagers or students, we are generous and we give..
let's calculate..
2bucks..
orchard road.. a non stop flow of people walking past ngee ann city towards wheelock..
im sure it wouldnt take that long before 10 people stop to give her..
just 1 hour of nonstop would get her 20bucks..
she can go eat crystal jade..
cos seriously..
if i knew what she was asking me..
my natural instincts would hand her 2bucks..
is she really in need of that money anyway?
everyone needs money..
come on.. EVERYONE..
maybe she's abusing the fact that she's old and MAYBE alittle handicapped..
i dont know..
would you give?
